In this group project, we made a plexiglass model of Mies Van Der Rohe's Barcelona Pavilion. Printed textures sandwiched between the plexi showed Mies's use of strong materiality. Then, in pairs, we replaced the bench in the Mies's Barcelona Pavilion with one that conforms to the contours of the human body in and between various states of rest.

I used Rhino to model the pavilion, and Grasshopper to generate the curve of the bench. I used computer assisted fabrication techniques to prepare these models for lasercutting.
